Let’s make this spiked strawberry lemonade our signature summer drink.
Wouldn’t that be great?
Except the problem here is that I’m trying to experiment with a bunch of different alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, so I’m going to be telling you quite often that “this is your new signature summer drink”.
But can we really do just ONE signature drink? That’s like picking a favorite dish. Or a favorite song. It’s not bound to happen when there are SO many good things out there. So, you’re probably going to have at least ten this summer. Maybe even more.
That’s just how it’s going to be.
Sometimes I do wish that I could choose one thing, though. That I could make up my mind and settle.
Like the direction I want my career to go. I’m fairly certain that it’s changed weekly since I graduated.
Over a decade ago.
Or the direction I want this blog to go. If you’ve been a follower for some time, you’ve probably seen me try to implement new things here and there. I constantly want to change things to make this more of a lifestyle blog.
So, if you’re anything like this, then you understand the struggle.
But let’s forget about my indecisiveness for a moment and get back to this new “signature” summer drink of yours.
A simple syrup made with fresh strawberries blends perfectly with fresh lemonade before being kicked up a notch with some vodka to make one pretty tasty drink.
Now who wouldn’t want to drink that all summer long?

I know I do. Or at least once a week.
