This post is going to be short and sweet.
But one thing I wanted to mention during the twelve days of Christmas giveaway is that this year has held a lot of new for me.
Like, I never thought I would make a simple syrup from flowers [or what my parents consider weeds] growing in the lawn.
I also never thought that I would use that simple syrup to create these cupcakes or this lemonade.
I never thought I’d freeze wine, blend it up, and make this delicious strawberry frosé.
Or that I’d re-create the crunchwrap surpreme – which was the number one viewed recipe on the site in 2017.
I had never tried Halo Top ice cream. But when I did, I created this guilt-free cherry vanilla float.
Or that I’d make a soup. Out of FRUIT. Like this Swedish blueberry soup and this Norwegian apple soup.
And I sure as heck didn’t think I’d be making my own traditional medicine like this immunity boosting ginger cinnamon elderberry syrup!
So, in wanting to share my experiences with you, on the fifth day of Christmas gifts, ONE lucky winner will receive: a bag (1lb) of whole organic elderberries.
That winner will also receive a cowl, gingerbread bath products, a wire bow ring, and a box of macarons!
So, seriously, what are you waiting for? Enter the giveaway here!
My goodness, your syrop sounds lovely… thank you for posting!
