We officially have two days left.
I just want to talk for a moment about the fact that there is only TWO days until Christmas. WHERE has the time gone?? And how is my baby nugget almost a year old!
And how about the fact that I was trying to speed up time. By starting my 12 days of Christmas a day early. Who does that??
So, to get back on track, I took the day off from the countdown yesterday. It was needed. I made 4 dozen holiday cupcakes, and one smash cake – which will be shared next week.
Anyhoo.
This isn’t so much a recipe as it is a concept.
A delicious concept.
Because, honestly. What could be better than apple cider? Apple cider with ginger ale and ICE CREAM!!
So, on the 11th day of Christmas, I’m sharing with you: apple cider floats!
Apple Cider Floats
- vanilla bean ice cream
- apple cider
- ginger ale
Scoop about 1/4 c vanilla bean ice cream into each glass. Pour apple cider in until it’s about halfway full. Top with ginger ale*.
*The ginger ale will fizz to the top with the slightest bit, so make sure you don’t overfill with apple cider or you’ll create one big mess. It’s happened to me on numerous occasions.
Move over root beer float, there’s a new float in town!
